Some first days highlights as dictated by the 12 students of the delegation:
1. walking to school
2. the bells at David Bloch to switch classes
3. celebrating a surprise birthday Israeli style
4. a 10 o'clock snack (Aruhat Eser)
5. the indoor gym
6. the petting zoo
7. making friends in Hebrew, telling jokes and laughing in Hebrew
8. the welcome ceremony
9. seeing our pictures in the hallway
10. everyone is friendly, and even the little kids want to talk to us
11. the huge kindergarten and 1st grade rooms
12. the computer lab
13. being independent
14. the dogs understand Hebrew
15. shoko (chocolate milk in a sack)
