Seeing Los Angeles from her Birthplace to the Center of Entertainment

The 6th Grade students and the Israeli delegation went on a scavenger hunt, led by Shari Davis, from the L.A. Tel Aviv Partnership Staff. They saw the birthplace of Los Angeles and how the culture of the 1930s has been preserved on Olvera Street. Here is the first firehouse, built in 1871. Most of the shops on Olvera Street have been passed from generation to generation and have remained in the same family.
We discovered the first home in Los Angeles built in 1810.
We had freshly baked churros on Olvera Street.

Universal Studios; a fun afternoon with new friends.
